Aspen Ladd began her journey into combat sports at the young age of fourteen. Aspen Ladd was trained in BJJ, kickboxing wrestling and boxing before her first appearance as an amateur at WCFC at the age of 18. Ladd built on this victory and began a 3 fight win streak at Ultimate Reno Combat finishing her opponents in the opening round in all the fights. She returned to WCFC and defeated Leslie Rodriguez through a unanimous ruling. Aspen beat Silvia B beghian and Maddy Simmons prior to facing Cynthia Calvillo. Cynthia gave Aspen a unanimous defeat and beat her in a match that tarnished Ladd's amateur career. Ladd recovered from this loss to defeat Roma Pawelek, taking her record to eight one. Aspen made her professional debut in 2015 when she signed with Invicta FC to make her professional debut. Invicta Fc 11 she dominated Ana Carolina Vidal and won the bout in the first round by TKO. Invicta Fighting Championships 16: She won the following match with Amanda Cooper through a second-round submission via armbar. Aspen utilized her superior wrestling skills to defeat McGill in the third round of a TKO. Aspen took on Jessica Hoy, at Invicta FC 18. The fight was with Hoy in a catchweight (138.1lb) because Ladd was not able to gain weight. Aspen still dominated Hoy to finish her in second round by TKO. At Invicta FC21, she was the last fight with the company. The winner was Sijara Ebanks with a majority decision. The debut of Aspen Ladd's UFC debut was at UFC Fight Night 118 when she fought Lina Lansberg. She dominated Lina with a ground-and-- - beat her to the TKO victory in the 2nd round. She repeated her dominance and picked up a more stunning victory in her next bout against Tonya Evinger, who was fighting at UFC 229. Ladd took on Evinger with a punch during the initial round, she was awarded a performance of the night bonus. Her first major fight came with her next bout in UFC Fight Night dos Anjos in which she faced. Lee against Sijara Eubanks in an Invicta FC rematch. Ladd won the night's fight bonus fight after the two fighters engaged in a fierce combat. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie finished Ladd in just 16 seconds which ended her winning streak. Yana Knitskaya in the UFC 7 ESPN 7's third round, was defeated by Randamie. As a last-minute replacement to her UFC fight, she took on Norma Dumont during UFC Fight Night 195. Her loss was a unanimous one.
